I have not so active in my blog lately because of busying setting up my facebook photography fans page. I try to upload some of my recent food photography before I head down to KL for business trip.

I’m very fortunate to shoot 3 years in a roll for Leong Yin Pastry, but those shots are getting higher expectation each year, it took me around 1 week to finished this shot because of many amendment. I will invest and set up a proper studio next month to get a better lighting and to start for commercial photography slowly

I stopped blogging and photo shooting for more than a month, there have been a lot of changes in this period and I really need to reorganize my life style, lucky I can take it positively……

This is the beautiful couple who is pregnant with TWINS! Lee Lee is due really soon, so hopefully by the time I post their photos, I’ll have some adorable baby photos to go along with it! I have captured their wedding photos, life style photos and now pregnancy photos, is a good way to record down the process of a couple in their life, hopefully I’m able to get a happy family portraits few years later.

This is my first visit to the garden, It caught my eye 2 months ago when a customer took us for lunch just opposite the lake garden. I was amaze by the landscape there, I believe I can shoot better photos in the early morning, but I’m not purposely to come for the photography so it has to depend on the customer I visit. I also just realize there is actually a zoo inside the garden, is definitely a good place for pre-wedding photos, if you want to know more about this lake garden, you can click here to find out

I get bored with the shooting I did normally, when I looked at other people photos I find that their macro shot are impressing and out of the world, I wonder how can I to be like them? So I try with no flash macro for the first day, the result is not bad, after that try to shoot with tripod but with some fill in flash together with my D.I.Y diffuser, I find that these shots are much more impressing than my previous one. Most of my shots are Dragonflies are because they seldom move around and they are not camera shy. Something to share here………..

Finished process, burn into CD and pass the photos to his parents today, but seem not very satisfy with the photos, I plan to retake for them. I’m a bit rusty because of the long break and hot weather bla bla bla I shouldn’t find so many excuse for myself……… ^_^

This is my second visit to this heritage site, last time was in 2007, it seems has some changes in the exhibition hall. I’m so lucky to have 2 frees entry pass, so I go along with Tommy Chai for this Khoo Kongsi shooting,

The Khoo Kongsi (邱公司) is a large Chinese clanhouse with elaborate and highly ornamented architecture, a mark of the dominant presence of the Chinese in Penang, Malaysia. The famous Khoo Kongsi is the grandest clan temple in the country. It is also one of the city’s major historic attraction. The clan temple has retained its authentic historic setting, which includes an association building, a traditional theatre and the late 19th century rowhouses for clan members, all clustered around a granite-paved square. It is located in Cannon Square in the heart of the oldest part of the city of George Town, in the midst of narrow, winding lanes and quaint-looking pre-War houses exuding a palpable old world charm. I am so excited to share this little cute baby with you today. He is the son of my Sandvik Ex-colleagues. Since I got a baby, I always want to shoot this kind of family portrait for people. Because I know being a parents the greatest joy is to see that every single moment of your baby is being capture down in video or photos. I’m glad that they gave me this chance to shoot this album for them. I cannot wait to share the full shoot with you all, but at the moment I have some other shots to deal with, will try to update it ASAP, so stay tune………

I got a surprise call from Nikon today, they told me that Nikon Japan is interested in one of my photo which I took part in 2008/2009 Nikon photo contest, they will consider it to be in their 2011 calender. If my photo was chosen I get pay USD 300 for my compensation, if not USD 150 also will be paid if my photo was drop by them. I’m feeling top of the world at the moment, is not about the money, is about my achievement. Look forward for that agreement!
