Taiping Lake Garden
by admin on Jun.01, 2010, under landscape
This is my first visit to the garden, It caught my eye 2 months ago when a customer took us for lunch just opposite the lake garden. I was amaze by the landscape there, I believe I can shoot better photos in the early morning, but I’m not purposely to come for the photography so it has to depend on the customer I visit. I also just realize there is actually a zoo inside the garden, is definitely a good place for pre-wedding photos, if you want to know more about this lake garden, you can click here to find out
Jason + Jolene’s Pre-wedding
by admin on Feb.17, 2010, under Wedding
Is my Honored to shoot these photos for Jolene and Jason, is a good practice and polish up for myself also. We spend 2 days to finish up the shooting, this was back in 2009 Christmas and boxing day, but I feel sorry because of the delay due to my heavy work load.
We cover 6 places in 2 days, Tommy and Timmy assist me on this shooting also, without them things won’t go according to what I plan. We are having so much fun in this shooting especially in the botanical garden. I hope these photos can made a good album for them in their wedding day.

by admin on Jan.09, 2010, under Wedding, portraits
This is the 3rd pre-wedding shots I have taken, still not very satisfy with my lighting control. Recently I come across some of the photo blogs which made their photos look nostalgic. I tried it myself with some of my shots, some look really good and some got backfire. This is the first time I shoot an actual day together with some pre-wedding shot, so is quite tough for me, I yet to finish all the processing on the photos, but I can’t wait to put some up. Here are just a few snaps of the couple, more to come………
Every creative feels the urge to create for a reason that is bigger than us. Trust it. Run with it. You may surprise yourself

Penang Casual Shots
by admin on Nov.03, 2009, under Penang, landscape
I try to explore some places which I have never been before after almost staying in this island for more than 11,000 days. First I went to the fishermen village in Jelutong Express way, follow by the protestant cemetery. I find that these two places are good for pre-wedding shot also, but is a little bit scary for those non christian to take photos in cemetery.

International Water Day
by admin on Apr.12, 2009, under Penang, landscape
Once a year the waterfall in Botanical Garden will open for the public viewing in this international water Day. Many photographers waited this once in a year chance to take photos of this amazing waterfall.
Things turn out to be a little bit different now, this year I went in the evening, my wife can’t go with me because it needs to hike a distance, so she waited me down there while doing her walking exercise. I took about half an hour to finish my shooting, and trust me this is the best shot I ever got for this waterfall after trying a several times

Phillips Island
by admin on Jun.25, 2007, under Australia, Travel, landscape
I wake up early today and went to the Cowes Jetty alone waiting for the sunrise, normally I don’t do this alone when I’m in malaysia, but in Phillip Island I think is safe enough, of course I always stay alert also. The sunrise is not what I expected, because winter time the sky is more cloudy, the sun got block by the cloud, but I still can get some fantastic colour before the sunrise.

By the time I get back, they already preparing the breakfast, I quickly upload all the photos to my hardisc first before going to the next location. Before we were going to the Nobbies, they stop by COWES jetty again to take some photos.

We arrived in Point Grant quite early today, that’s why still don’t have many visitors, it has a very long walking trail for us to walk around the Nobbies, we can see a blow hole if the sea tide is high. The air is very refreshing and the view will be more stunning if it is a sunny day. After we spend an hour walk, we continue our journey to pyramid Rocks before we heading for our lunch.

The pyramid Rock located in the south of Philips island, the name came from a rock which looks like a small pyramid. We just can see it far from the look out, we are lucky to get a very beautiful sky to photograph.

After a wonderful mornign we have, we are heading back to Cowes Jetty to have our lunch. I really like trees along the road side, is so beautiful especially along the Philip Island road.
our final destination are the Smith Beach and surf beach, you need to take a stair case to reach the look out for the Smith Beach, but I’m too lazy to go up, end up taking photo around the farm. Surf beach is really long along the coast, but I don’t see anyone surfing during the winter.

Finally we ended out Philips island tour here, is a beautiful island, a bit like Tasmania. Since Simon is tired, I’m the one who drive them back to Melbourne, is a good experience to drive in Australia.
