Rifle Range Flats
Rifle Range Flats is the first low cost housing scheme in the state of Penang, The flats which were completed in the 1970s were one of Penang’s earliest low cost housing projects and also the tallest at that time - a symbol of hope for Penang’s urban poor.
The 3,699 flat units in nine blocks have 99-year leasehold titles. All are one-room affairs, except for four corner units per floor. The corner units have two rooms each, 6 blocks have 17 floors, while 3 blocks have 18.
Despite all the negative perception from the internet but I enjoy going to Rifle Range Flats when there’s a reason to do so. To me is like a living heritage, but what I really see is the charm in the beautiful architectural, so old school yet mystery and unique, lot of composition and creativity to play with.

心系旧舍，情牵长廊
G楼建于1930年代，是母校最后一座历史最悠久的单层教育楼，对锺灵人而言情意深长久远。
时至今日，为了母校更宽广长远的发展，纵使心中有万般不舍，G楼终究得被割舍拆除以让路给规划更周详全面的五层综合教育楼。
